Buy / Sell / Trade
Negotiate trades or direct deals outside the standard marketplace basket.
How BST differs from checkout listings, proposing deals, and staying safe peer-to-peer.
Marketplace vs Buy/Sell/Trade
Checkout marketplace is fixed-price cart flow; BST is conversational.
Use the marketplace when you want a listed price and immediate payment flow. Use BST when you’re arranging swaps, bundled trades, or bespoke pricing with another member.
Typical negotiation flow
Follow the labels in the current UI—they evolve with the product.
Step by step
Open Buy/Sell/Trade and find a user or thread starter.
Propose what you offer and what you want; attach card references if the UI allows.
Iterate until both sides accept; confirm any shipping or top-up payment terms in writing.
Complete the agreed mechanism (mark complete, pay balance, etc.) as prompted.
Safety and disputes
Peer-to-peer trust still matters.
Prefer tracked shipping for high value, keep proof of packing, and use official support channels if someone ghosts or misrepresents. General Terms and Marketplace Policy clauses still apply where referenced.
