Rules

When you encounter Chaotic Aether, each blank roll of the planar die is a {CHAOS} roll until a player planeswalks away from a plane. (Then planeswalk away from this phenomenon.)

Rulings

Planeswalking away from a phenomenon (as you do when resolving Chaotic Aether's ability) doesn't cause Chaotic Aether's effect to expire. — While Chaotic Aether's effect applies, rolling any blank face of the planar die will cause chaos abilities to trigger.
